Fireaway deliver delicious fast fired pizzas that combine traditional Italian methods of preparation with innovative flavour combinations, using only the best ingredients.

Week 1 Kick Off

Really Social and App4 Developments Ltd are on a mission together to save restaurants from paying high commissions!

We’re attempting to get 3 takeaways to leave 3rd party platforms in just 90 days. Over the next 3 months we’re going to be documenting our journey each week so you can see exactly what we’ve done!

Week 2

We’ve finished the first full week of our ‘Just Leave’ challenge with Really Social and App4 Developments Ltd and the results are in 📈.

It’s always good to start a campaign with a bang and we wanted a few quick wins to kick things off.

Last week we focused on getting brand new customers to order from all 3 takeaways along with getting people who hadn’t ordered for over a year to re-order from Heath Hayes Spice and Spice Lounge.

Direct online orders increased by over 50% for Heath Hayes Spice and Spice Lounge and nearly 20% for Fireaway Ystrad in the first 7 days – safe to say we’re very happy with that result.

Week 3

We’ve finished the second full week and the results are in! A great second week and some great learning points too.

Sales were up for all 3 takeaways compared to the week before we started (and the best week yet for Fireaway Ystrad!) Up over 30% for Heath Hayes Spice and 40% for Fireaway Ystard!

Last week we focused solely on Email and Socials (and not WhatsApp) and this impacted conversion too so this week we’ll be pushing WhatsApp hard.

Week 4

We’re in week 4 of our Just Leave challenge with Really Social and App4 Developments Ltd and sales are up!!

We’ve had some slight peaks and troughs as you’d expect but overall sales are up 40% across all 3 restaurants vs before we started, Spice Lounge achieved a 68% increase in sales in just the last week!

Last week was our best week yet for Fireaway Ystrad and Spice Lounge and a very strong week for Heath Hayes Spice too.

Week 6

We’re nearly half way through our Just Leave challenge with Really Social and App4!

So far we’ve consistently increased direct orders week on week and now we’re going to work really hard to see if we can double the order volume over the coming month. So these restaurant all increase their sales by 100%.

Week 7

Before we started the campaign Spice Lounge was doing just over £1200 a week in direct orders on their App4 site, this is now well over £2000 consistently and in fact the last two weeks we have been doing around £2500, in orders a 100% increase!

Week 8

This week we wanted to highlight that with the right campaign you can directly generate orders from your Meta ads in a short timeframe. £113.52 generated over £1677 in takeaway orders specifically from the advert, and on top of that we generated thousands more through other social posts, emails and whatsapps (just look back at some of our previous Just Leave videos to see the results).

Time is flying buy and we’ve just come to the end of month 2 of our Just Leave Challenge!

The best part is we’ve only spent just over £100 on paid ads for each of the takeaways which has generated and increase in direct orders by 25-50%!

Week 10

This week’s update is short and sweet – the numbers speak for themselves!

70% of Spice Lounge’s takeaway orders every week are now coming direct – last week on Saturday they did just over £300 on Just Eat but over £1300 on their App4 website!

This is a huge achievement but we think we can do even better – watch this space

Week 11

this week we visited Heath Hayes Spice just north of Birmingham.

It was a fitting week to visit as we just achieved their highest ever weekly direct sales number of £2706.66 (vs making £1637.25 before we started!)

Spice Lounge also achieved £2514.37 last week (vs £1289.78 before we started!) and Fireaway Ystrad had £1234.01 in direct online sales – a 25% increase on before we started.

Week 12 – The Results

Here’s the key figures – direct online sales were up for all 3 takeaway significantly compared to before we started.

Spice Lounge: £6084.12
Firaway Ystrad: £4453.23

Direct online sales 3 months into the campaign:

Heath Hayes Spice: £9,852.86
Spice Lounge: £11,067.23
Firaway Ystrad: £5428.47

The most exciting thing here is we’ve seen a large number of new customers already placing a second and even third order.
